Then for the weekend I was in Oxford.
And today I caught a train to London then back home.
Rather tired now! But wanted to make a blog because I thought I should.
In Oxford, I spent a lot of time with Melody Yates which was excellent.
However once I walked back from the train station (across fields which was a short cut in distance but not in time -muddy fields, heavy mud on boots, slower walking...) I continued with my lovely portfolio CD with clearer intentions.
Instead of lots of files, I now have a few.
One track -mix of music
One track -mix of ambience and fx
Several videos
3D Audiobook extract
CV .pdf
Excellent.
I've burned three CDs with my lightscribing-stuff
I've mixed the music track and the ambience track
All is almost done I think
You can listen to my ambience and fx here.
Thankyou and farewell.
(edit: here is my final CD cover)
Hey man, how are you doing, first off, I like the CD lable you have - very funny indeed. Secondly I am really enjoying your ambient mix, you should send me a copy, will hand it round at work. Thirdly I'm working on a personal Jekyll and Hyde project and it would be great for you to do some sound if you're up for it?
